English Breakfast

A classic by any standard, English Breakfast is a perennial favorite due to its brisk tannin, bold flavor, and bracing character. English Breakfast teas typically come from the Assam region in India, so we recommend looking for fun alternatives from lesser-known regions that produce black tea similarly - like full leaf teas from African or South American countries.

Black Tea from Africa or South America

Many tea producing areas that are former European colonies produce black teas using the Orthodox method. The time, temperature, and humidity during withering and oxidation varies from the Chinese method of making black tea, producing the more prominent and bolder tannin that most associate with English Breakfast tea. In our collection, we recommend trying Kenya Kangaita or La Cumbre Bitaco!

Pine & Holy Basil

We shy away from saying definitively that any one tea or tisane is the healthiest. But if we're forced to, we will probably point to our Tulsi Supreme (holy basil and stinging nettles make this one a powerhouse for your central nervous system) or our Wild Taiga (pine, fir, chaga and wild blueberries supercharge this tisane's immune-boosting potential).
