Easy Tea Mocktail

Apple Chaider

Ingredients:

6 oz chai concentrate
6 oz apple cider
3/4 ounce Buckwheat Honey simple syrup (use a 1:1 ratio of hot water to honey)

Directions:

1. Combine chai, cider & honey.
2. Serve hot or iced and garnish with citrus, apple, or a cinamon stick.
3. Enjoy!

Easy Caffeine-Free Mocktail

Nana's Cider

Ingredients:

3/4 L Nana's Pumpkin Pie concentrate
1 pt (1/2 L) apple cider
1.5 T Buckwheat Honey simple syrup (use a 1:1 ratio of hot water to honey)

Directions:

1. Combine tea concentrate, cider & honey.
2. Serve hot or iced and garnish with citrus, apple, or a cinamon stick.
3. Enjoy!
Yield: 4 servings

Chai for Lattes & Mocktails

Chai Concentrate

Making chai concentrate sounds far more intimidating than it actually is. All you really need is good loose leaf chai, water, a stove, and time! Recently we've been using our Pumpkin Pie Spice Chai, but this recipe is equally good with any of your favorite chais or spiced teas (we also love it with Nana's Pumpkin Pie for a kid-friendly, caffeine-free fall drink!).

We recommend brewing a ratio of 28 grams loose leaf chai tea to 64 ounces (2qts) of water on the stove at a simmer for 90 minutes. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!

You can also use this concentrate to make lattes using a ratio of 2/3 heated or iced concentrate to 1/3 frothed milk.
