Elderberry Infused Honey

$ 20.00

Tasting Notes: Berry-hued infused honey replete with the sweet-tart taste of ripe elderberries

Bursting with berry flavor and packed with antioxidants and vitamins, our Elderberry Infused Raw honey is the healthiest honey in our shop!

Our Elderberry honey is a beautiful Texas clover honey infused with real elderberries that results in a sweet-tart berry flavor that pairs well with green teas, scented teas, and herbals.

Both raw honey and elderberries are naturally high in antioxidants and vitamins. Together, these two powerhouse superfoods are a sweet-tart way to enhance your day! Some experts recommend elderberry as a way to possibly prevent or ease cold and flu symptoms. Honey has been used as a natural remedy for years as part of cough syrup or throat lozenges. If you have a bit of a sore throat, a spoonful of elderberry honey is soothing and delicious way to temporarily relieve your sore throat or cough.

Using Your Elderberry Infused Raw Honey at Home

We recommend this honey with green teas like Long Jing Zhejiang and fruity herbal tisanes, but get the most out of your Elderberry Infused honey by pairing it with our Health Potion herbal tisane! You can also drizzle elderberry honey over your morning oatmeal or smoothie bowl for an extra immune boost, or make it into a simple syrup for delicious cocktails.

Natural raw honey has the seemingly magical capability of spontaneously "setting" or crystallizing. Each honey will crystallize at a different rate based on the sugar and water composition. With its wonderful texture and more concentrated flavor, we recommend crystallized honey as a delicious spread over toast! If liquid honey suits you better, simply heat a warm water bath to 100 degrees and remove the pan from the heat. Submerge your jar with the cap removed and allow to stand 20-30 minutes. It will be ready to pour again! An uncertain amount of time will pass before the honey may need de-crystallization again, and then simply repeat these steps as needed.
