2020 Jeju Organic
This shou-style aged tea comes to us from Jeju Island in South Korea and is lush with earthy, cereal notes and a sweet finish.
Made from the Yabukita cultivar and harvested on May 20, 2020, this shou-style aged tea comes to us from a terroir that is close to the sea and characterized by volcanic soil. This terroir lends itself to a micro-enzymatic fermentation that sets it apart from those using the same shou-style processing for post-fermented teas (Pu Erh) in China.
