Tasting Notes: An unexpectedly deep-purple hued liquor with fresh notes of basil and rose, La Vie En Rose will transport you to the rose-colored days of first love and unlimited possibilities.
Here is a delicate blend of organically grown raspberry leaves, purple basil and wild rose buds from Québec. The stunning deep violet liquor is as lively and has a pleasant suppleness relieved by a fine astringency that gives it body. The intensity of the aromatic oils of basil and rose blend with the vegetal character of raspberry leaf. The long spicy finish leaves a sense of freshness.
This tea may be beneficial for both the digestive and nervous systems. Especially interesting for people who have digestive problems due to stress. The astringency of the raspberry leaf and rose in addition to the essential oils of basil aid the digestive system to prevent gas and bloating. Meanwhile, basil and rose calm the nervous system, help prevent anxiety and irritability and prevent stress. This mixture is also beneficial for the female reproductive system (astringent, tonic, antispasmodic). It may help prevent menstrual discomfort, help regulate the menstrual cycle, and benefit women at times of hypersensitivity.
Stir in a spoonful of our Wildflower Honey for maximum relaxation effects!
All Organic Ingredients: Raspberry Leaves, Purple Basil, Wild Rose Buds.
Herbal Infusions, blends that do not include the leaf of the camellia sinensis plant, can all be brewed just off the boil (around 205 degrees) for 3 to 6 minutes depending on your taste. Since they lack the naturally occuring tannin that tea has, there is more flexibility in brewing time and temperature.
What is Herbal Tea?
Herbal Infusions, sometimes called "tisanes" are exactly what they sound like, blended or singular herbs, fruits, and flowers designed to be brewed and enjoyed like tea but lacking the inclusion of the leaves of camellia sinensis, the tea plant. We, at Saratoga Tea & Honey Co., do not stand behind the chemical processes that are used to render away the natural caffeine in tea and instead choose to offer these naturally caffeine free (and naturally delicious) infusions as the alternative for those sensitive to caffeine or looking for something at the end of the day.
